The Google I/O Extended is the greatest event related with Google Developers group. They are organized in order to know what's going on in Moscone Center, in San Francisco, where the Google I/O takes place. Moreover, we had talks made by the regional developers who showed us their apps and shared their knowledge and their experiences.

For the second edition of Google I/O Extended, held in firaReus facilities, we developed an application to manage the attendees entrance and do the check in.

Tickets were NFC cards. The first application functionality, then, is the ability to write these ones with the data from each participant.

Of course, the other benefit is to be able to read this data and to keep track of the attendees at the event. All of this was done with a smartphone with NFC. It is also possible to do it with a reader.

Also, before entering the various rooms where talks were done or the streaming from San Francisco was going on, the users had check in with their accreditation, so it is possible to know how many of them are in each room.

Due to several readers located in different rooms and areas of interest, it is easy to do a study which are the preferences and interests of the attendees.

This is the Google I/O Extended second edition in Tarragona. It lasted three days and it was very interesting.

On the first day we saw a live keynote of the Google I/O, where we discovered the newest things on their products and technologies. As always it was amazing, with big surprises and improvements that will facilitate the day to day to all developers working with Google technologies.

The second day the attendees could keep watching talks in streaming or they could attend the presentation of several apps developed by people in the province.

The third and final day was devoted entirely to talks. Every day we had a great time for networking.
